CSEET
It is a beginner level test for Company Secretary course, which is held four times in a year.
CS Executive
The next step after CSEET examination is Executive Level Course. It is an intermediate level test for Company Secretary course, which is held twice in a year in the months of May and November.
CS Professional
The last level to qualify as Company Secretary course is Professional, which has been designed to impart expert knowledge in the field.
Eligibility
Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
Appearing or passed Senior Secondary examination (10+2) or equivalent
Graduates/postgraduates must pass CSEET to enter the CS Executive programme
Exemptions are available for:
CS Foundation exam qualifiers
CA Final and CMA Final qualifiers (with exemption fee)
Results
- CSEET results are announced in the following month of the exam.
- Passing criteria — 30 marks in each paper & 50% in total.
Each paper is assigned to a distinct domain. The following are the four papers covered by the CSEET syllabus:
Business Communication (50 marks)
Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning (50 marks)
Economic & Business Environment (50 marks)
Current Affairs, Presentation and communication skills. (50 marks)
Eligibility:
- Clear CSEET/Graduates from all disciplines except Fine Arts can directly enroll.
- A student appearing in the month of December the cutoff date to get registered is 31st March.
- A student appearing in the month of June the cut-off date to get registered is 31st August.
- 1 year needs to be completed within 5 years of registration for the Executive Programme.
