Major Updates to CA Exams 2024

In a recent Twitter announcement, CCM CA (Dr.) Rohit Ruwatia Agarwal revealed significant changes to the CA exam 2024 landscape. According to the statement, the CA Foundation and CA Intermediate Exams will now be held three times per year, giving aspiring chartered accountants more opportunities to demonstrate their skills and knowledge. On the other hand, the CA Final Exam will continue to be held twice a year, as it is now.

Important Updates to CA Exams 2024

While these changes are groundbreaking, it’s worth noting that the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has yet to issue an official statement on them. The lack of confirmation from the regulatory body has left students and stakeholders eager for more information.

The specifics of the revised exam schedule, including dates and other relevant details, are expected to be released by the ICAI in the coming days. The announcement by CCM CA (Dr.) Rohit Ruwatia Agarwal has sparked widespread interest and anticipation in the CA community, and candidates are advised to stay tuned for official ICAI announcements.

As these changes occur, questions arise about how they will affect CA aspirants’ preparation strategies and the overall dynamics of the examination process.

Furthermore, the ICAI will soon launch the Centralised NOC (Non-Objection Certificate) policy through the UDIN (Unique Document Identification Number) Portal. Obtaining NOC from a retiring auditor has always been a critical task for an auditor, particularly for young CAs in practice who are currently having difficulty obtaining NOCs from senior members. Many certified public accountants have faced professional misconduct charges for failing to obtain NOCs. A separate NOC column will be introduced on the UDIN portal, which is a positive step.

CCM CA (Dr.) Rohit Ruwatia Agarwal confirmed that the Institute plans to implement the same on the UDIN Portal this year. Stay tuned to us for the most recent updates on this developing story, as we provide timely and accurate information about the changing landscape of CA exams 2024 and the CA Fraternity.
